RG Awareness Week

RG Awareness Week (RGAW)

The annual RGAW was first organised in 2014 and continues to be the mainstay for patron education. Roadshows at the casinos, Singapore Pools outlets, Singapore Turf Club Racecourse and jackpot machine rooms reach out to a sizeable gambling population to teach, remind and share with them about responsible gambling and responsible gambling tips through interactive games.

  • RGAW 2023: “Are you aware of Responsible Gambling Tools?"
    • The RGAW 2023 took place from 18 to 29 October 2023. A total of 24 roadshows were held in different gambling venues in Singapore, such as Singapore Pools branches, jackpot machine rooms, and casinos. The theme "Are you aware of Responsible Gambling Tools?" aimed to encourage the use of Responsible Gambling tools, which comprises the Pre-commitment Programme System by some of the jackpot machine rooms, the Informed Play System by casinos, and the self-assessment quiz by Singapore Pools. During the roadshows, interactive games were used to educate on responsible gambling and patrons could complete a self-assessment quiz to better understand their betting behaviours. They were also encouraged to sign up for Responsible Gambling tools to help them gamble more responsibly.
